Experiment description: Electrochemical batteries as sources of electric energy are important components for various appliances of our daily life. Though, the functioning of such a basic device is not very common. This was the reason for building this remote experiment, where the variable is the concentration of ions, taking part in redox reactions, resulting in the electrochemical electromotive force and voltage. Both electromotive force due to Nernst equation and electrolyte conductivity on the ions concentration is measured during titration.
Description of the use: The experiment is decisive of all the reactions and parameters of electrochemical cell and their dependence on the electrolyte concentration. It thus may be used for project and homework.
