Experiment description: Frequency dependent phenomena in RLC circuits are basis for both demonstration of phenomena in electricity and electromagnetism and for circuits with resonance phenomena. Usually, the voltage transfer and phase characteristics (i.e. dependence of both amplitude and phase on the driving frequency) are examined as the function of frequency, here the transfer of energy from the source to the load (as in communication devices) is the assignment.
Description of the use: The current, voltage and corresponding energy relations of both electric and electromagnetic phenomena in passive circuit components - capacitor and inductor and corresponding RLC circuit properties, may be studied. Remote experiment may be used both as the laboratory experiment and for the project and homework.
